KATOの コキ106 19Dコンテナ積載 （2両セット）
を購入しました。シースルー構造で、コンテナを積載しない状態にすると、枕木や線路が見えます。素敵。
確か、20年前のTOMIXのコキは抜けた台枠は再現されていたものの、黒い板状のウエイトが付いていてシースルーにはなっていませんでした。走行性能度外視で取り外した記憶があります。 また、一部抜けているはずの箇所が抜けておらず、黒く塗ってみたり、ドリルや糸鋸で穴を開けてみたり。
KATO製品にいたっては、コンテナが取り外せないどころか、コンテナが5個一体成型でした。この製品、今でも販売されていました。価格が抑えらている分、長編成を組みたい方等のニーズが有るのでしょうかね。
さて、購入したコキ106には、ユーザー取り付け部品が付属しています。 一つは、黄色いブレーキ・ハンドル。 アートナイフ
でゲートが残らないように丁寧にランナーから切り離しました。ゲートの位置はもう少し工夫してもらいたいところです (切り離しにくいわけではないのですが、気を使います)。接着剤は使わなくとも、しっかりと取り付けることが出来ました。もう一つは反射板。こちらもアートナイフでランナーから切り離し、手すり側のフックに引っ掛けました。こちらは、やや緩く、反射板をなくしてしまいそうでしたので、爪楊枝で Gクリアー
を少量付けて軽く固定しました。標準のアーノルドカプラーを取り外し、 KATOカプラーN
に交換しました。
