今日はTOMIXの JR コキ２５００００形（コンテナなし） を紹介します。

実車を見たことはありませんが、模型は鮮やかなエメラルドグリーンです。
色々な色のコキが色々なコンテナを積んでいる姿は見ていて楽しいですね。

あと、コンテナなしで売られているのもポイントです。 コキを買い始めると、色々なコンテナを買ってしまいます。同一のコンテナが何個も同梱されていると、どんどん余ってしまいます。

さて、我が家は KATOカプラーN を採用しています。 ということで、TOMIXの車両ですがKATOカプラーNに交換してみました。
単純に交換するだけなら、とても簡単。台車を外し、金属のカバーをマイナスドライバー (精密ドライバーがオススメ) でこじ開け、アーノルドカプラーをKATOカプラーNに交換するだけです。この時、スプリングは取り付けておいたほうが安定感が良いようです (ちょっときついですが)。

今回はちょっと一工夫。
KATOカプラーの後ろ側の出っ張りを切り落とします。
カプラーと一緒に写っているのは、 平刃 XB157H を装着した アートナイフ です。 これで、簡単にカプラーを切り詰められます。
プラ材1mm角棒 を台車とカプラーの間に詰めて、カプラーを1mm後ろにずらします。
ちょっとピンボケですね。。。
連結間隔を少々小さくできました。
